Opened in August of 2017, located right off of Morton Street, our Denison location feels like home. As a renovated residence, HBLA Denison is uniquely set up, with rooms that are cozy and cute! The upper building houses our littlest of students, while our downstairs building offers a creative environment for our older students to explore! Enrollment ranges from 6 weeks to 13 years, providing part-time, full-time, and before and after school care!

Hi, my name is Beatriz Garcia. I’m 31 years old and have been a proud member of the HBLA Denison family for over 7 years. I began my journey here as a Pre-K teacher and, through hard work and dedication, advanced to Assistant and now Director. Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a teacher—and today, I’m fortunate to live that dream and so much more. My favorite part about working with children is hearing all the wonderfully creative stories that come from their imaginative minds. I truly enjoy caring for each child individually and creating a safe, nurturing environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of three amazing boys. In our free time, we love watching movies, snacking, and soaking up the sun together. As I continue my journey with HBLA, I look forward to meeting new families and helping shape the bright minds of our future generation.

As a Director at HBLA Denison, I truly love what I do. Supporting every aspect of our schools so they can thrive is something I find especially rewarding, and I embrace the challenges that come with making it all possible. We provide a friendly, safe, and healthy atmosphere that nurtures each child’s social and emotional development. The most fulfilling part of this role is watching children grow, explore, and discover new things every day—their sense of amazement is inspiring, and it’s the best feeling to be part of their journey.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mother of three. Much of my free time is spent caring for my family, enjoying time with friends, and creating memories together. As lake lovers, you can often find us soaking up the sunshine and relaxing in the water whenever the weather allows!

Hi, I’m Alicia Flores and I’m 21 years old! I’m a proud dog mom and absolutely love spending time with kids. I’ve had the privilege of being part of the HBLA family for almost four years, and during that time, I’ve worked my way up to Assistant Director. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in every classroom, but my real passion lies in PreK. I find it incredibly rewarding to create meaningful bonds with the children and to provide them with a safe, nurturing environment where they can grow and thrive. When I’m not at work, I enjoy babysitting on my days off, continuing to connect with little ones. I’m so grateful to be a part of the HBLA family and am excited to continue my journey with such a wonderful team. Watching children grow, supporting them every step of the way, and seeing the joy on their faces when they achieve something new is truly fulfilling.
